Thanks for stopping by, my name is Julie C. I am an educator, a community organizer, and an emcee. I am by no means a diet or fitness expert, just a regular person who is blogging to share my experiences with others. Like many, I became interested in health through my desire to lose weight, and THAT has been a story of ups and downs for me. Over the course of the last decade, my weight has fluctuated extremely, from 140 to 190 lbs, due to inconsistency, and the "dieting trap" that so many of us fall into. This pattern is tremendously detrimental to us all, and so as I once again begin a journey toward better living, I want to document my experiences this time around in the hopes of sharing my learning, staying accountable, and inspiring others to make positive choices for their health for the right reasons. This is just a hasty introduction to who I am, and I will be adding more to this section as I continue down this path toward holistic health and longevity. Thanks for reading.
